What “private workspace” means here
Fictensity is a private, account-based writing workspace. Your sessions are tied to your authenticated account and are not public by default. Other ordinary users cannot browse or search your writing sessions.
Private does not mean end-to-end encrypted or unreadable to the service operator. Prompt text, assistant responses, and draft content are stored so the app can reopen sessions later and provide continuity features. People with privileged operational access to the database may be able to view stored content when needed for support, debugging, abuse review, or infrastructure maintenance.
What Fictensity stores
Fictensity may store:
- account information such as your email address
- saved writing sessions, prompts, assistant outputs, and draft content
- character cards, world cards, and related story-state data
- usage metadata such as token counts, credit usage, timestamps, and plan-period records
- billing-related identifiers returned by Stripe, such as customer and subscription ids
How model providers are involved
When you generate text or use AI-assisted enhancement features, the relevant prompt and context are sent to third-party model providers to produce a response. Depending on routing and availability, that may include providers reached through OpenRouter or direct provider APIs configured by the app operator.
Those providers necessarily process the prompt text and output text needed to answer the request. Their own retention and logging policies may also apply.
Deletion and retention
If you delete a session inside the product, the goal is to remove that session and its related message history from the app database. Some non-content usage metadata may still be retained for billing, accounting, abuse prevention, fraud review, and operational debugging.
Backups, logs, and third-party provider records may persist for some period outside the immediate app interface.
What this is not
Fictensity should not be treated as a vault for material that requires zero operator visibility, zero third-party processing, or end-to-end secrecy guarantees. If your use case depends on that level of isolation, this product is not making that promise.
